Falcon Friends

Who are we?

Falcon Friends is a Forest Trail community support organization stemming from the Booster Club. We provide short-term, confidential, non-financial assistance to FTE families and staff in times of need, emergency and other life situations that require a little extra help. We are over 75 volunteers strong this year! We will be able to rapidly serve our FTE family should a need arise.

Committee members will receive emails throughout the year with specific requests from other FTE families to provide a meal, carpooling help, etc. Volunteers are free to volunteer as often/ seldom as they would like. Whether the need results from an illness/ injury of a child or family member, or the birth or death of a relative, Falcon Friends will be there to help.

How to volunteer

It’s never too late to sign up to be a volunteer. You can sign up at Muffin Morning or the Back to School Night when you visit your child’s classroom. Sign up sheets should be there. If you don’t get a chance to sign up at either of these events, you can email
Laura Boone.

What do volunteers need to do?

Wait for an email from Falcon Friends Coordinator Laura Boone with a needs request. Requests come through Volunteer Spot so you can easily sign up for available needs, see what others have volunteered and when, receive email reminders 2-days prior to volunteer commitment, and make changes to the commitment if needed. We are so thankful for our Falcon Friends and their compassionate hearts!
