How to access e-learning service provision

An E-Learning referral form can be downloaded from the link below and returned to Jackie.thompson@e-learningservice.com  The E-Learning referral form can also be printed and sent to the The E-Learning Service, Mill House, The Street, Norwich NR8 5DG

The Service will make contact with the pupil's family and arrange for a trainer to visit the pupil. Installation of any necessary computer equipment and software will take place during the training visit in which the pupil - and their parent/carer - will be shown how to access the online features.  After the visit, pupil log-in details will be shared with the school in order that regular checks on progress can be made by the 'key-worker'.

From this point forward, e-teachers post up work and mark it when completed.  3 one-hour lessons are available for each subject during the week.  In addition, pupils have 1 hour each week during which they can talk to their subject teacher during an on-line tutorial session.

At the end of each term e-teachers write reports on pupil progress and these are made accessible to the school to be shared by the school with the pupil’s family if wished.  In addition, the Service sends 2-weekly up-dates if a pupil is not returning work.  If no work is returned after 8 weeks, the Service will ask their trainer to revisit the pupil at home to discuss any problems or issues with provision and to attempt to re-engage the pupil.  Regular monitoring of work will continue thereafter.

Where students have worked well, this is celebrated by the issuing of termly merit certificates.
