Digital Citizenship and Online Safety

The safety and security of students while online is a high priority. Internet filters can only do so much. Education and supervision are the most important things we can do to protect students.

All students in the Dysart Unified School District receive instruction on how to protect themselves and how to conduct themselves responsibly online and with digital resources. The majority of this instruction is done by the Library Media Specialist, although all staff is responsible for the ongoing teaching of this important topic.

The information provided here is intended to support teachers, parents, and students as we all work together to teach digital citizenship to not only our children, but to ourselves.
