Middle School Math Interventions

Hello!  I'm Andrea McNabb Carter, the 5th - 8th Grade Math Interventionist.  An interventionist offers additional support during the school day that will enhance students' mathematical and conceptual understandings. This is my ninth year at Riverview.  I am so excited to work with Middle School students again. 

I started in 2005 teaching 7th and 8th grade math.  I then moved to lower grades working with Kindergarten for a non-profit.  After Kindergarten, I transitioned into a position as a Parent Educator with the same non-profit company.  Then most recently I was a GED/HSE Instructor for Rio Salado College, where I still continue to guest teach on a needs basis.  

On a personal note:

I have 3 children a ninth grade boy and boy/girl twins in eighth grade.  They don't go to school at Riverview but I am more than happy to show you pictures of them.
