The 8th grade team works hard to specialize instruction to each individual student at their appropriate level to fit their specialized needs. We are strongly data driven, and we use our benchmark tests to help us design lessons and learning activities for students that meet their unique needs and interests. Each student in the 8th grade is seen as an individual. Our number one goal is to have all students succeed past high school and beyond. We focus on building relationships, understanding of cooperative learning, developing real life application skills, and going deeper into content with highly rigorous activities. We align our lessons with the vision of Canyon Ridge. To provide students with the most beneficial educational experience teachers and parents must work together, so we encourage an open line of communication. Please feel free to contact us with any questions and concerns. We are open to hear any concerns or questions you may have.

Sincerely,

The 8th Grade Team

Edgar Galindo, Jennifer Malic, Peter Sharbaugh, and Desere' Hockman
