Please send your child to school with 26 Valentines on Thursday, February 13th.

We will be having an exchange in class and your child will be bringing all of their

Valentine's home when they are dismissed from school at 12:42pm.

They can write "To:" (leave blank) on all of their valentines

And "From:" (their name) on all of their valentines

This will make it super easy to distribute them and put 1 in each student's bag

Valentines can be hand-made or store bought. Please NO NUTS in any of the

candy/treats. If there are nuts in any of the candy, your child will not be able to

pass out their Valentines.

Welcome to 2nd Grade
The 2019-2020 School year is here!

This website will be updated weekly with important class announcements, homework assignments, projects, useful links, class photos, and/or forms and documents- all related to things happening in Room 9.

On the first day of school, you are invited into the classroom for a short period to help your child find his/her desk and help them put on a name tag. After that, please say good-bye, as we will start our day together as a class on the carpet.

Be prepared for tired second graders the first week or two. I encourage you to send a healthy snack for recess. Lunch can either be bought at school or brought from home. I will be helping those who buy lunch for the first couple of days to make sure the transition is smooth and easy. Plenty of sleep will be very important! :)

I look forward to meeting you all on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019.
