At the moment the tenth and twelfth class have examinations. After the examinations, the students of the twelfth class will leave us. So for their benefit, and in good tradition, there was a farewell party last evening.

The occasion was organized by the students of tenth and eleventh class and by the teachers. To start de evening, there was a religious ceremony, some speeches to wish everyone good luck and a little task for the twelfth class. All the students of the twelfth class got personally honored and got the chance to say some thanks to the teachers themselves. Afterwards the twelfth class had a gift for the school (see picture). To conclude the evening, there were some pictures, a lot of good wishes and a plate of sweets, soft drink and others.

Rangoli competition in DPS

posted Jan 30, 2013, 1:19 AM by Sanjay Bansal

Rangoli Wedstrijd in DPS,

Rangoli Competition in DPS,
Today, some girls od DPS from 6th to 11th class took part in a Rangoli competition.
The girls from each class grouped together to make one beautiful Rangoli.
We had seven groups and three members of a jury.
Every group was very good, but some did not have powder, only chalk.  So even though there drawing was beautiful, they could not win. The jury looked for, composition in colors, the cleanliness of the colors, the drawings and the decoration.
In the end, out of seven groups we had four winners, because the third place is being shared by two groups.
In the pictures below, you can see the first and second winner and a group picture of all the competitors and two members of our jury.

The Hasanpura Home found a new helper

posted Mar 21, 2012, 11:59 PM by Sanjay Bansal

Instead of using machinery of big corporations we decided to call upon a local farmer for help. We now support him by using his donkeys on the site. This makes the work easier for our builders and we're able to help the framer as well.
The construction is going on according to plan.
