I've investigated many ideas; research has been a huge practice and I like to write, expressing those things I've learned, feel, and wish to seize in an active role of life, while I am here.

I began life in Texas, traveled as a military dependent to about a half dozen places before ending up in New Mexico (most of them also desertous terrain). While in my last year of elementary school, as my father arrived in the Holloman A.F.B., NM location and his last tour of duty with the military before semi-retirement, we moved off base into a town called Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Alamogordo is one of a kind! Really, Google it! It's the only one on earth that I can find: "Alamogordo" means 'fat cottonwood', and the main park is lined with the Cottonwood trees where they have the annual Cottonwood Festival during the last part of the summer.

Interestingly enough, though, I've followed, no, I'm compelled with a path of spiritual learning throughout my life, naturally beginning as a Christian by default at birth.

Later, as an adult, I made an informed decision about changing beliefs. Into it went much prayer/meditation, research, study and practice with regard to Deities, living the right action, I am on a continuing journey now as a Neo-Pagan, more specifically, Neo-Druid.

My heritage and research with the family tree have had some influence, inciting me to the trail leading me to seek out the 'Druid' way. I learned there are no more Druids as were of the ancient times, but there are, however, 'Neo-Druids' of the modern times, inspired in some ways from the ancients.

My first encounter with meeting someone who thought much the same way I felt, was extremely ept with written expression, her online name, perhaps her religious name, as well, was / is named: Lady Toadie, a past member of ADF: A Druid Fellowship, a legal organization, and is called Ár nDraíocht Féin; in the Gaelic form, pronounced something like: arn dree-oct fane.

Other people who've inspired me: Kirk Thomas, Laery L., Aigeann, Francesca, Todd R., Todd C. and others.

My Deities at the moment are:

Brigit - Healer, inspirer, protector of domestic animals, smithy;

Lugh -  The many skilled;

Taranis - The Thunderer and smithy;

Mannanan macLir - Son of Lir, warder of the ways between the worlds, guide.

Cernunnons - The Wild one

There are others, but these are those whose cloth and oaths I carry close ties with most of the times.

Speaking of Oaths, I have one ongoing with the Shining Ones I made some years ago, to keep the hearth of the Enchanted Desert Protogrove, ADF alive for as long as I am able, therefore, I continue the duties as Grove Organizer, now, since 13 November, 2003, up to the present.

I don't take oathing lightly. I may blog an essay about this topic.

Enchanted Desert Protogrove, ADF is a sub-group, or sub-grove of a greater Mother Grove known as ADF: A Druid Fellowship, whose articles of incorporation are governed by the laws of Delaware, U.S.A.

I have gotten my credentials of Ministry through the Universal Life Church, Modesto, California, U.S.A.

I am currently in the Dedicant Study Program to earn my Dedicant Studies recognition with ADF. My mentor is Aigeann who is the Senior Druid for Clan of the Triple Horses in Oregon, U.S.A.

Enchanted Desert Protogrove, ADF's Mentor is Vice Arch-Druid Kirk Thomas.

My goal is to somewhat follow in the footsteps of both of the above-mentioned mentors, Aigeann and Kirk, but there are others.

I wish to attain my B.A. degree in Cultural Anthropology, however, it has been difficult finding a strong online Bachelor's program in this field of study, therefore, I may pursue Human Resources, a close second, as working in a real world with practical skills, still maintaining close touch with people; I hope to continue a dual study in the Masters with Cultural Anthropology, Celtic Studies, and perhaps if I am still alive at that time, gain an accredited degree of study from Cherry Hill Seminary or any number of other Pagan accredited colleges which will be springing up by that time!

I now live in the New Mexico countryside southwest of the little village of Tularosa, NM, where I and my other aspire to follow our dreams. I am also working on some projects at the land of: "Druidton", where there may someday be as envisioned, a labyrinth, where we currently do uphold the High Days, full moons, new moons, in ritual at the Nemeton of Enchanted Desert Protogrove, ADF, at Druidton.

Druidton, as I fondly refer to it, is an unofficial Druid town, thus, 'ton', in a shortened version, upon approximately 20 acres in New Mexico, where we also live.

I am an advocate of Peace and of taking care of the Earth for all creatures, including Mother Earth herself; I advocate truth and genuine kindness. I live the right action as close as I am humanly able, in pursuit of a virtuous life and rebirth.
