Rehoboth PTSA Minutes  March 5, 2018
PRES -  Meeting called to order 6:35 pm by Susan Bogosian, President  

Meeting Minutes: Susan Bogosian, President -  Minutes from February 2019  submitted with corrections -  minutes reviewed, motion to approve/seconded &  unanimously accepted.  

Principals’ Reports:  
BMS: Joseph Pirraglia -  submitted update - (see attached).  Treasurer’s Report: Nancy Breault -      Updated treasurer’s report submitted. Giving Market  receipts were added for net gain of $411.91,     

Committee Updates:   
1) Nominating Committee:    No nominating committee volunteers at this time. Will  continue to pursue or we may have to conduct election with nominations from the floor  
2) Silent Auction - March 22nd:  items are starting to come in. Auction committee will meet at  the end of this meeting.  
3) PRES Book Fair - April 1st-4th:    Booked and one volunteer has been identified. Susan  will continue to solicit volunteers and Scholastic is sending someone to help set up the  book fair.  
4) Child Choice Dance - April 6th  K-2 & April 27th  Grade 3 & 4:  Scheduled as listed.  Volunteers are welcome and needed. Please contact Valerie if interested.  Members  discussed our appreciation for Valerie Carey as chair of this event going above and beyond,  attentive, organized and communicating her plans at meetings.  PRES Talent Show - May 3:  Rehearsal scheduled for 5/2/19. Planning is beginning.    

New Business:  
1) Discussion regarding enrichment ideas for Beckwith. Jenn Moitoso will pursue  idea.  
2) Spring fundraiser discussed for “Golf Ball Drop” but need to consider event  options to keep attendees present.  Will explore middle school performance or  volleyball tournament.  
3) Used Car Show - idea presented by Susan Bogosian. Discussed possibility in late  June. Pro’s new idea, community based, new fundraising opportunity.
