SEPTEMBER 2018 UPDATE
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 12th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria at Palmer River. This is our membership drive meeting. Membership in the PTSA is open to anyone; we welcome all parents, grandparents, teachers, students and community members. Stay connected, involved and informed! Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. A membership form is attached for your renewal. Please share the membership form and encourage others to join us!
We adopted the theme of “Parent Engagement” last year and will continue with that theme this year. Our priority will be to actively engage teachers at both Beckwith and Palmer River. We have set our goals to include sponsoring parent engagement events, increasing membership, increasing on campus enrichment programs and continuing support of field trips, family events, grants and enrichment programs.
The fifth annual 5K and 1mile fun run will take place on Saturday, September 30th. If you, a family member, neighbor or friend have a business and would like to be a sponsor please contact us at Rehoboth.ma.ptsa@gmail.com. On line registration is open, please see the attached flyer. With fewer fundraisers, your support of these events is critical to our funding programs at the current levels. Please encourage others to sign up for the 5K or the 1mile Fun Run. Thank you for your consideration!
