Color Run Donations needed!

                             September 12, 2017

On behalf of the Rehoboth PTSA I would like to Thank You for your past support of the Rehoboth PTSA 5K and One Mile Fun Run.   Your support made a difference in the number of programs the PTSA could fund.   There will not be a 5K and One Mile Fun Run this year.  We will sponsor a Color Run at Beckwith Middle school instead.  This will be the only PTSA fundraiser this Fall. The Color Run will take place on Friday, September 29th.  Please consider sponsoring the Beckwith Color Run.

We are requesting donations in the amount of $100.00 or more for the opportunity to sponsor the Color Run.  Each sponsor will have its business name printed on the back of the Color Run t–shirt.  Additionally, sponsors will be acknowledged in advertising and will receive a letter acknowledging your donations.

Thank you for your consideration.  We look forward to your reply!

August Update

posted Aug 23, 2017, 5:57 AM by Rehoboth PTSA   [ updated Aug 23, 2017, 5:59 AM ]

The National, State and Local PTA units have adopted the theme of  "Parent Engagement" for this school year.  Thus, we will be adding some new programs that support this theme.  The PTSA Bookclub, chaired by Mr. Pirraglia,  will begain this October.  We will also sponsor an Astronomy night and a Music program through the Rehoboth Cultural Council that support this theme, as well as the current programs we sponsor.    Our priority will be to actively engage teachers and teacher representatives to the PTSA at both Beckwith and Palmer River.  We have set our goals to include sponsoring parent engagement events; increasing membership; increasing on campus enrichment programs; and to continue supporting field trips, PEG grants, family events and enrichment programs.

It is with great pride that I announce the Rehoboth PTSA has been named a National School of Excellence, for both Beckwith and Palmer River!  The 2017-2019 Schools of Excellence are designated in recognition of their commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming school-community where all families contribute to enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.   The National PTA's School of Excellence program supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools that work to improve the educational experience and school environment for every child.  ~  Congratulations!     Look for information on the celebration of this distinction.

Please read the attachments about the  Concussion training that will be presented  following the September 20th rally meeting, and  membership forms.  The concussion workshop is open to the public and presented by the Massachusetts Department of Health.  Membership is open for the 2017-2018 school year.  Please encourage others to join!

     Important September Dates:

6th -  First day of school

16th - PTSA Booth - Harvest party

20th - PTSA Membership Rally  / Concussion Workshop

29th - Beckwith Color Run

We are looking forward to a great year!
