With this website, students will have access to the actual text book in an ebook format that they are using in the classroom. There are several other resources such as videos and online games that can help reinforce what they are learning in the classroom.

(5) Google Drive/Docs - Review

Students will create an artifact that allows them to show what they remember about google docs and allow them to review these skills. They will be given a choice of the final artifact.

This review unit will focus around a topic that will link to the 4th grade curriculum.



(2) Power of Blogging
Students will get an introduction to blogging and how to create a post for others to see. They will learn what they write many other people can see not just them. This helps students take more ownership on their writing.


(4) Google Slides - Interview of a Classmate
Students will be reviewing various skills using Google Slides that they learned from last year. While they do this, they will create a Google Slide file on "ALL About A CLASSMATE". They will first interview the student to get some facts about them. I will create an interview sheet that has some headers like background (How many brothers and sisters, how old are you, what are your favorite subjects at school, section for slide 2 - Favorite things to do - Slide 3 - Favorite foods Slide 4: Additional facts.

Students will learn how to gather and organize information from digital sources by paraphrasing and/or summarizing. Communicate key ideas and details individually or collaboratively in a way that
informs, persuades, and/or entertains using digital tools and media-rich resources.

Students will learn about researching on a topic and showcasing their finishing to others by using a blogging site.


(6) End of Year Project
Students will learn how to gather and organize information from digital sources by paraphrasing and/or summarizing.Students will be put into groups of 2-3 and will need to learn how to collaborate to finish the project. Students will become travel agents and be assigned to a state. Their job will be to learn some information about the state then create a Google Slide file that showcases their information. If time, they will present their information on their state to the rest of class.
