Connecting BB-8 to a device
BB-8 utilizes Bluetooth LE (also know as Bluetooth 4.0 or Smart BLE), designed to provide significantly lower power consumption and faster connection. Unlike a traditional Bluetooth device, to pair to your BB-8, all you have to do is launch the BB-8 application next to your droid instead of through the Bluetooth menu.
Charging BB-8
Simply place BB-8 into the charger with its heavy side down. If a charging connection is made, you will see the blue light on the charger blink. It will continue blinking until BB-8 is fully charged, at which time the light on the charger will turn solid blue. BB-8 takes about 3 hours to fully charge and will provide up to 1 hour of play time.
