We are proud to announce that Denver Public Schools has now made the power of Google Apps for Education available with the new implementation of a Google Apps for Education domain.   Staff need to know that Gmail is not replacing Microsoft Outlook for email or calendaring.  If you’d like to know more about all the valuable tools Google Apps provides, you can look it up using your favorite search engine, or you can follow this link: http://tinyurl.com/GoogleBenefits.  Meanwhile, feel free to use this training website to learn how to use these tools in your classroom.

Please use the tabs above to navigate this training website according to your needs.  Here is is an overview of the training available on this website:

The "Beginner" training tab found at the top of this page links to individual pages that present an introduction of how to use basic Google tools (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Presentations and Spreadsheets).

The instructional videos on those pages cover the most basic parts of each tool that you need to know in order to use them effectively with your students.

The "Intermediate" training tab found at the top of this page links to individual pages that present more in depth use of Google's basic tools (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Forms, Presentations and Spreadsheets).

The instructional videos on those pages will dive into more depth on how you can engage your students using Google tools in the classroom.

The "Advanced" training tab found at the top of this page links to the individual pages that present more advanced approaches to utilizing Google tools for greatest efficiency and engagement of students.

We encourage you to view and master the skills taught in the "Beginner" and "Intermediate" training videos before embarking upon the "Advanced" material.

Look for the "Self Assessment" icon listed on each training page and click on it to take a short self-grading quiz on that section's content.
This will help you to know how much you have learned about Google Apps and their use in the classroom.
