Mr. Norman

Hi, my name is Reginald Norman. I am a Mild Moderate Special Education Teacher at Merrill Middle School.  I have been at Merrill for 6 years and have enjoyed every minute.  I have coached Girls’ Basketball and Flag Football at Merrill in previous years.  I have a Bachelor Degree in Criminalogy from Colorado Mesa University (Formally Mesa State College) and a Master’s Degree in Criminology from New Mexico State University. I previously worked at a private prison for 5 years before becoming a teacher. I attain my teaching license from Metro State University in Special Education. I have been married for 11 years to the lovely Tasheka Norman who is an elementary teacher at a DPS elementary school. I have three children all under the age of 5. Their names are Saheim (oldest son, 4 years old, and he is autistic), Zaylaa-Soliel (girl twin, 3 years old), and Waajid (boy twin, 3 years old). I enjoy attending church, spending time with my growing family, playing sports, teaching, coaching, and traveling.

7th Grade Special Education Resource Room:

Introduction to Criminal Justice:

Students will begin to look at the American Court in preparation for their Mock Trials.

Students are currently working on understanding the importance of a Jury System and beginning to understand the process of preparing for a criminal trial
