  • The more I follow current affairs and the state of the contemporary world with all it’s intolerance, violence, lack of empathy and awareness, the more I gravitate towards the sphere of education in order to be able to refresh and restart from the grassroots, in my own small way, to address and remedy the growing need for humanity, ethical values, sustainable and viable economic growth, social innovation and responsibility. You don’t just teach ‘subjects’ at schools. You teach entire new generations how to create and sustain a better, new world. 

  • Hi, I am Tulip Bhattacharya..

  • I completed my Master Of Education degree specialising in 'Designing Powerful Learning Environments' from Hong Kong University in December 2017, with a Distinction.

  • I completed the PGDE (Post-Graduate Diploma in Education) programme with Liberal Studies as my Major from Hong Kong University, in 2019.


  • In India, I graduated with Honours in Political Science and History and did my Master's degree in International Relations before starting my journey in the fascinating profession of teaching.


  • Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2014, I was teaching International History to Grades 8 till 12 at an international school offering the Cambridge International Examinations system of ‘Advanced’ (A Level), ‘Advanced Subsidiary’ (A.S. Level) and ‘Ordinary Level‘ (O Level).

  • I hold a Cert-TESOL ( Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) degree from The Trinity College, London with a Grade 'A' ( 'Distinction in Performance' )


  • I love travelling and have visited various places across Europe, Asia and U.S.A. In today's world the role of education is of paramount importance to bridge the gulf between globalization and regional customs/values or even to devise ways to bring about an eclectic blend in the use of educational technology with effective learning methods of the past.
