New Glarus School District

Introduction

Information and technology literacy is defined as the ability to access print and online resources as well as to responsibly use appropriate technology for communication and problem solving. Toward that end, the district will access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information to improve learning in all subject areas.  Our goal is that students acquire lifelong knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st century.  The School District of New Glarus information and technology plan focuses on the following areas:

  •  A Culture interwoven with Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Technology, Assessment, Facilities, and Community Partnerships.
  • Student Preparation for the successful pursuit and participation of the chosen academic or career option.
  • A strongly fostered, open and responsive, two-way Communication Plan collaboratively maintained with all stakeholders.
