Introduction


Information and technology literacy is defined as the ability to access print and online resources as well as to responsibly use appropriate technology for communication and problem solving. Toward that end, the district will access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information to improve learning in all subject areas.  Our goal is that students acquire lifelong knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st century.  The School District of New Glarus information and technology plan focuses on the following areas:

  • Student Preparation for the successful pursuit and participation of the chosen academic or career option.

With a school population of just over 900 students pre-kindergarten through grade 12, teachers form strong relationships with their students and are committed to each child reaching his or her potential.
