The Kohler Public School District, we serve more than 700 students in junior kindergarten through 12th grade and offer an onsite daycare service, Kohler Kare.
We are a small school system with big opportunities. We hold high expectations for our students and staff and have a history of delivering excellent outcomes. Creating a safe and caring environment provides all young people with the ability to pursue their dreams.
For students to achieve a competitive edge in the "Informational Age", the School District of Kohler must adapt to a rapidly changing technology and media driven environment to provide our future leaders with the tools and resources to learn and grow.
The purpose of the Information and Technology Program at Kohler Public Schools is to assist in implementing, enriching and supporting the district curriculum and to provide adequate information/technology services for students, faculty, support staff and administration. It is the mission of the Information/Technology program to ensure that all students and staff develop skills to become problem solvers, information seekers, effective communicators and life-long learners in an information-driven, global society.
The purpose of this plan is to publicly convey the plans and action steps necessary to achieve an increased level of learning with regards to technology. The technology and other departments will strive to align this plan with the WI Digital Learning Plan as well as the district strategic plan located here.
