Unit Test

Ohm's Law Quiz - The first question on this quiz asks you to write the equation for Ohm's Law.  There are then four different word problems that use Ohm's Law.  For each you are asked to show your work in the following way:  1.  Equation Used, 2. Equation with known values, and 3.  Equation solved for unknown.  The answer should have the correct label and be reported in the proper number of significant figures.

Electrical Power and Energy Quiz -   The first two questions on this quiz ask you to write the equations for electrical power and electrical energy.  There are then four word problems that use the power and energy equations.  For each you are asked to show your work in the following way:  1.  Equation Used, 2. Equation with known values, and 3.  Equation solved for unknown.  The answer should have the correct label and be reported in the proper number of significant figures.

Electricity Vocabulary Quiz - This quiz asks you to match the following list of vocabulary to their definitions:  static electricity, conductors, insulators, amperes, volts, dry cell, wet cell, ohms, open circuit, closed circuit, series circuit, parallel circuit, watts, electrical energy, diode, and transistor

Magnetism Vocabulary Quiz - This quiz asks you to match the following list of vocabulary to their definitions:  magnetic field, magnetic poles, magnetic domains, electromagnet, solenoid, galvanometer, electric motor, electromagnetic induction, generator, direct current, alternating current, and transformer.
