Tales & Trails: A Prairieview Winterfest

Got cabin fever?  Bored with the indoors?  Please join staff members from PG and MCCD for some winter fun this Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011.  We will be celebrating winter at the Prairieview Education Center.  There will be something for everyone; walking trails, story tales, snow art, music and cross country skiing.  Doors open at 9:00 for our early birds! The activities start at 9:30 and end at 12:15.    Check out the attachment for the schedule of Events.  
P.S.  Remember to dress appropriately for the outdoor activities!
Can we come at anytime during the program?
Yes. You can drop in at anytime starting at 9:00 when the doors open to the end of the program at 12:15.  You can also join Mr. Forsman for cross country skiing. 

Do we have to be outside the entire time?  
No,  we will not be outside the entire time. The opening and closing sessions will be held inside in the Vista Room.

Is there an area to warm up?
You can warm up inside, browse the library, or use the bathrooms at anytime. Also, there will be a campfire on the covered patio!

Where is the Prairieview Education Center?
East of the school at 2112 Behan Road off of Rte 176.   Call them at 815-479-5779 or click here to access their web page for directions and information about the facilities.
