Meet the Teacher

    I am so excited to introduce myself as your new fourth grade teacher! 

    This will be the start of my 17th year at Prairie Grove Junior High School. Before starting my career at PG, I worked at a Montessori preschool for two years where I was able to develop and hone in on my love of teaching. Soon after my early childhood experience, I graduated from Roosevelt University with an Elementary Education degree. My love of READING took me back to school where I received a Master's degree and attained my Reading Specialist certificate through Concordia University. It has been a fun-filled past 16 years teaching 3rd grade, the accelerated ELA program, 5th grade and now 4th grade! I feel very fortunate to be able to work within such a supportive, family-oriented community. 

     The relationships and adventures we will embark upon together in fourth grade will be extraordinary and something to be treasured!
