Meet the Teacher

    I am so excited to introduce myself as your new fourth grade teacher! 

    This will be the start of my 18th year at Prairie Grove Elementary School. Before starting my career at PG, I worked at a Montessori preschool for two years where I was able to develop and hone in on my love of teaching. Soon after my early childhood experience, I graduated from Roosevelt University with an Elementary Education degree. My love of READING took me back to school where I received a Master's degree and attained my Reading Specialist certificate through Concordia University. It has been a fun-filled past 17 years teaching 3rd grade, the accelerated ELA program, 5th grade and now 4th grade! I feel very fortunate to be able to work within such a supportive, family-oriented community. 

     The relationships and adventures we will embark upon together in fourth grade will be extraordinary and something to be treasured!
