JUNE 8, 2017 - PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE

A public information centre was held on June 7, 2017 at St. George's Anglican Church (227 Wharncliffe Road N.). The PIC presented the detailed design plans for the bridge rehabilitation and construction. A copy of the display boards and traffic safety plan for the project is available for download HERE. 

MAY 29, 2017 - NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE 

A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church (227 Wharncliffe Road). The purpose of the PIC is to provide information on the detailed design and construction plans for the bridge rehabilitation. To view the public notice click HERE.

APRIL 19, 2017 - UPDATE

The Environmental Study Report (ESR), documenting the Class Environmental Assessment Process and technically preferred plan for the Blackfriars Bridge, was available for public review from February 25 to March 30, 2016.

During the review period, two Part II Order Requests were received by the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC). On April 19, 2017, the Minister issued a decision on the Part II Order requests, clearing the City to proceed with the project.
