Project: design and implementation of a multimodal application (desktop or mobile) using multiple interaction channels - group work is strongly suggested but individual projects are allowed.
Before the oral examination, students have to prepare a detailed report of the project, which clearly points out possible external sources that were used, and the points where original code was developed to build the final application.
It is also necessary to prepare a presentation in power point or whatever and a demo to demonstrate the project.
It is required to underline any design choice that was necessary to make in order to have the application work, and a clear architecture structure to highlight the parts of code taken from libraries and the part of code newly developed.
It is also required to carry out a thorough performance and usability evaluation, and results must be reported in the report.
Oral examination: the oral examination includes questions about the whole course, and not only the project.
In summary, students need to prepare:
Presentation to the classroom (prepared in ppt, pdf, etc.), written essay with full architecture details, mention of external sources and evaluation, and a demo regarding the project
Questions on all course topics
Language: Italian or English
The dates on INFOSTUD refer to the deadline for submitting the project report. The date for oral examination will be agreed upon later. See below for instructions on how to register for the exam
