The 2017-2018 school year will be my seventh year as the K-5 Math Interventionist at Dover-Eyota Elementary.

My excitement for math developed by looking at the baseball box scores found in the morning newspaper at a young age.  I was intrigued by the meaning behind the numbers.  These experience also factored into my interest in playing sports and being a sports fan.  I currently play 1860s baseball during the summer months with the Rochester Rooster and Lanesboro Excelsiors.

I am originally from Willmar, MN graduating from Willmar Senior High School in 2000.  My wife and I have been living in Rochester, MN for the last 4 years.  Previously, we have lived in other towns in SE & SW Minnesota along with couple of months in the Twin Cities.

I received my Associate Arts Degree at Ridgewater College (Willmar, MN). I then earned my Bachelor Degree at Southwest Minnesota State University (Marshall,MN). Since then, I have completed my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning through Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in the Spring of 2015.
