The Intertribal Timber Council has announced the Truman D. Picard Scholarship. 
This $2000.00 scholarship is for students who will be attending college in the fall of 2018, majoring in forestry, natural resources or similar majors. 
The deadline is February 7th, 2018.

PROGRAMS

TRIO Student Support Services Program is a federally funded program that provides intensive academic and career 
services to first generation college students, who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and are considered 
income eligible based on federal income guidelines. 

The CALWORKS Program at College of the Redwoods serves students who receive Cash Aid/TANF Benefits. 
Students receive specialized academic advising, assistance with transportation, support with school supplies, and 
referrals to supportive services, all while attending college. 

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded program designed to provide financial 
assistance, support and encouragement for low income students.

The EOPS application period for Spring 2017 is now open. The deadline for applications will be February 3rd, 2017.

AmeriCorps Programs place thousands of young adults into intensive services positions where they 
learn valuable work skills, earn money for education, and develop appreciation for citizenship.
