Minimum Days/Early Out - for Staff Development is every Wednesday at 12:40 pm. The regular bus will depart school grounds about 12:43 p.m.
IMPORTANT NOTE - Kindergarten Registration
Kindergartem registration begins for Margaret Keating students in the spring. Please feel free to stop by the office to talk to the secretary about the specifics of enrollment. There are several forms to be completed; information required from parents includes proof of immunizations, birth certificate documentation and proof of residency in California. The office staff is happy to help you with this process.
School Site Council
School Site Council meetings are held from 5:10 to 5:45 pm in room 7. All families are invited to come to learn about the council. If you have questions, feel free to call 464-0340 for more information.
Registration Packets are available in the Margaret Keating Elementary office; to register please bring your child's Birth Certificate, Immunization Record and Proof of Residency. The school office is open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm during the school year.
Margaret Keating Telephone Calls
Feel free to contact the school office 464-0340 between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, the school secretary, will be happy to help you. The automatic voice message system will pick-up your call once the phone rings four times, so be certain to stay on the line. Please leave a message, the telephone voice mail is checked routinely throughout the day to take your messages and return calls. After hours, you will be transferred to the After School Program, stay on the line and follow the prompts.
Contact the School District Transportation Department with bus stop location questions at 707-464-0250 for the Transportation Director, Derrick Campbell or 707-464-0251 for Dispatch.

After School Applications:
Registration packets for the After School Program are available in the office at 7:30 a.m. The registration forms must be returned to the ASIS coordinator, Mrs. Veronica Van Mechelen in Room 11 or to the office for enrollment in the program.
Wednesdays are Minimum School Days
Students are released at 12:40 p.m. to allow teachers and administrators to attend training and grade level meetings.
MKS offers kindergarten through sixth grade classes
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is looking for volunteers to become involved in fun activities and assist with fundraising for our students. Feel free to contact Elsie Wilder at 464-0340 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in helping.
