This mechanic encourages players to risk their losing points in order to potentially gain more, or to cease trying for more points in order to maintain their current winnings. In Incan Gold player will all explore a temple at the same time. Each step could yield more riches, or they could find a terrifying hazard that could make them run scared. Players will need to balance risk versus reward as they decide whether to keep exploring for more treasure or leave to keep the treasure they have before losing it all to the terrors of the temple.
