The third graders spent the week of April 22nd-26th reviewing many math and reading concepts in a fun way. It was modeled after the show "Survivor". We had tree mail, tribal councils and challenges each day. Each third grade classroom wore their specially colored bandanas. Mrs. Schwartz's class wore blue, Mrs. Terry's class wore orange. Mrs. Keller's class wore green, Mrs. Allen's class wore yellow, and we wore red. Our different math challenges were about patterns, probability, Geometry and measurement. In reading we covered stamina, following directions, inferring, main idea, sequencing, and a Jeopardy Language review.
