DCMA 22ND ANNUAL CHICKEN DINNER

SATURDAY APRIL 22, 2017

Dear Parents,

The 22nd Annual Chicken Dinner is approaching.  Many hours of hard work have gone into planning our Annual Dinner so far, and there is more to be done! We need Volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up, help in the kitchen serving food and help with drinks. Please sign up online at:  http://signup.com/go/6q449m.

We also need Donations of pop, water and desserts. Your Donations of drinks provides 100% profit to DCMA and is applied to our scholarship fund. The scholarship fund awards $500 annually to one Senior Band or Choir member for Higher Education Expenses.

Ø  Please bring your Donation of pop and water to the Band Room by April 20th.

Ø  DHS SHOW CHOIR: Please bring your Donation of Desserts to the Middle School between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, April 22nd.

We will travel both ways in formal wear.  You can change when you get back to school.  Plan for this.  Eat before we leave, so we don’t have to worry about what there is to eat at the site.   Yes, we will travel in our performance wear.  Plan on it!  You are receiving this on Tuesday, April 11th.   Yes, this is a required event.  It is free for spectators.  This would be an excellent time for parents and guardians to demonstrate their support of their student.

***Reminder: you cannot play anywhere until we are instructed to do so.

Percussionists:  We need to take everything that we use.  Make a list and check it twice, just like Santa!

*****If you are not riding the bus home, you are responsible to find someone to take care of your equipment and make sure that the bus chaperone has a note from your parents before you leave.

Intermediate band members need to have a ride to pick them up not later than 8:30 PM

Advanced band members need to have a ride to pick them up not later than 11:30 PM

Good Luck and Have Fun!!
