Welcome to the 3rd Grade!

    Greetings to the best class in the school!  There are so many exciting things that happen in third grade, and I am honored to be your teacher this school year.

       This will be my 18th year teaching elementary school and each year is special and unique in its own way.  This is a transitional year for your child and I will do my best to give your child a positive experience. It is an honor to be your child's teacher.  I've taught in four different states, (Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wyoming, &  Montana) and although curriculum and settings are different, the joy of the students remains the same. I have come to love Deer Park School and the community that it surrounds as I begin my 9th year here. 

     I have a beautiful wife and five extra energetic young children including a newborn baby boy. (Noah, Emma, Faith,  Hannah, & Beniah) When not at school my lovable children keep me on my toes.  They all love to meet the new students each year and enjoy attending the special events at the school as well.  Hopefully you will have the opportunity to meet them this year.

      I look forward to all of the memories and milestones that we will make together this year!
