This page is designed to help you find your way around Team 7 Green. We're glad you're here!

Back to School Night is Thursday, August 15th. Seventh grade parents attend from 5:30-6:30. Here's a link to our 7Green Back to School Night Presentation.
On 7 Green, we will seek to answer some pretty huge questions:
  • What does it all mean?
  • Why am I here?
To answer these questions, we will work to integrate all of the subjects that make up the middle school experience. As a "Green Machine," our students will uncover the connections between themselves, their role in many communities, and their voices in the world. It's going to be an amazing adventure!

What do I do when I’m absent?

We love being here at school, and we want our students to be here, too!  However, we completely understand that, in this hectic world, appointments, illnesses, family obligations, etc. can happen during school hours.  Please keep us in the loop so we can do what's best for everyone!

It is each student's responsibility to. . .

  1. Check the website! Do what you can from the website (draft, print handouts, finish/ start a task, study, read...)

  2. Email the Teachers the day you are gone if you have questions: "I noticed on the website we did..." The best emails are polite!

  3. Get the notes from your group members before the next day of class.

  4. If you missed an assessment (test or quiz), PLEASE email your teacher a plan when you will make up the test within the week of being absent. Access is not always the best time for this. Consider before or after school or lunch.

Some above-and-beyond ideas to help a friend who is gone:

Skype in to work with a group; have your group share a Google Doc; text a friend who is absent; take a picture of your creative.

Please be sure to get approval before attempting these highly-technological ideas!
