Email is the easiest way to reach me. Please be patient in waiting for a response as I have plan 1st and 5th period this year, I do not generally have time during the bulk of the day to check email. I will get back to you in 24 hours or as soon as I can!

As a true lifelong learner, I could picture no better career than teaching science here at Sierra. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Anatomy from Colorado State University (Go Rams!). After a few years in the medical field, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher to share my love of science with students, so I went back to school yet again to obtain my teaching license from Metropolitan State University of Denver. This is my sixth year at Sierra, and I’m thrilled to get to continue learning with all of you!

I live in Centennial with my husband, two daughters, cat, and guinea pig, but I spent part of my childhood right here in Parker. My family is pretty busy, but we love to find time to hike, garden, cook and eat together.

My goal this year is to amaze or surprise every single student with at least one lesson. It goes without saying that I will be amazed by all of you too! As a teacher, I aim to be your guide as we learn about how the world around us works and our impact on the world as well. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping a student identify and develop a new interest.
