I am Brent Sheffield but most people call me Sheff. I love my family, teaching, sports, and living in Colorado. I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I began teaching in 2010 as a High School Spanish teacher in Lake Village, Arkansas as a corps member for Teach For America. After two years of living in Mississippi and teaching in Arkansas my family and I returned to Colorado where I began teaching at Sierra Middle School in 2012. In 2019 I joined the administrative staff at SMS as an Assistant Principal.
When I'm not at SMS I am at home with my wife and 4 daughters. As a family we love to play around the house, go camping, and take road trips to other amazing places across the country. If I'm not with my family I'm playing sports or enjoying the outdoors.
I love teaching at Sierra and I love coaching as well. I have experience coaching Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track at Sierra and I have coached Football and Soccer at the High School level. I love all Colorado sports teams and I love BYU Sports as well.
