April Grusing

Hello! I'm Mrs Grusing and welcome to 8th grade science. This is my 5th year at Sierra but I have taught middle school for many years. I am from Texas originally but have lived in Colorado for the last 19 years. I have a bachelors in Biology from Texas Tech University. I am so excited to be apart of team Falcon.

I love the "hands on" part of teaching science. I love watching students work together and the energy they bring to class every day. Middle school students are my favorite part of being a teacher. I think this school year is going to be fantastic. We will study physics and chemistry and will focus on class discussions, asking good questions and thinking about the science that happens around us everyday.

I have been married to Jonny for 27 years and we have 2 kids, Bethany and Ben. We also have 2 dogs, Elliot and Betty.

Hobby- reading, running and hanging out with family and friends

Sport- college basketball
