I am Mrs. Finnerty and I'm so excited to be your 1st grade teacher this year!
I was born and raised in Wyoming.  I attended the University of Wyoming where I met my husband Dan.  We have lived in Highlands Ranch for 26 years and raised two children in this community.  They attended this very elementary school and continued on to Rocky Heights and Rock Canyon.  My son Ben graduated from Colorado State University and has begun his career in computer science.  My daughter Jill just graduated from Colorado State University this past December and is now studying to take the CPA.
This begins my 14th year as a teacher at Redstone and I love it! I am passionate about my teaching and about igniting a love of learning in my students, but I'm even more passionate about instilling self confidence in these little people.  I want them to know they can accomplish anything if they try their hardest.  I also am a firm believer in the partnership parents and teachers share.  It is this partnership that will ensure your child is as successful as they can be.
Please don't ever hesitate to get in touch with me with questions or concerns.
