Mrs. Eggemeyer’s Class

Celebrating Birthdays

Because of food allergies and to develop a love of reading, students are requested to donate a book for the class library to celebrate their special day.  Our theme for the birthday books this year are Graphic Novels.  Some great authors of Graphic Novels are:
Jeff Kinney, Drew Brockington, Dav Pilkey, Andy Griffiths, Lincoln Peirce

Hello! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Redstone Elementary! I hope you all have a wonderful summer. I am excited for August when we can begin a year full of adventures in learning.   Let me tell you a little about myself.  I'm Mrs. Eggemeyer, this will be my 10th year teaching and my 6th year at Redstone Elementary! I have a background in in not only general education but also in intervention practices and have completed Orton-Gillingham training.

I grew up in Colorado and have lived in Arizona and California. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. After working in marketing and research for five years, I went back to school and earned my teaching certification.  I have two children, one attends Redstone Elementary and my oldest goes to RHMS. I am married and have a black lab. We all enjoy sports and living in Colorado.

Third grade is my favorite grade and I hope your child will think so too. We will dive into reading, explore new concepts in math and science and learn about geography and local government. I can't wait for the new year to start and to meet your third grader!
