ESL - Ken David

Hello Rock Ridge Students and Parents!

My name is Ken David and I am thrilled to join the amazing Rock Ridge Community! As a Colorado native I have seen Castle Rock grow from just a few thousand to over 48,200 in population. The Meadows was my home in the early 2000's but we moved to the DTC area to decrease my wife's commute. I miss living inthis majestic location packed with friendly locals and pristine facilities. No community, I've experienced, compares to the lifestyle citizens of Founders and Castle Rock live daily!

My education includes Certification in Literacy and Language Development for English Language Learners (University of Colorado Denver). I hold a Master of Arts in Education (University of Phoenix), a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications with a Minor in Psychology (University of Northern Colorado) and an Associate of Arts from Red Rocks Community College.

Prior to joining Rock Ridge, I taught 4th/5th grade at Wheeling Elementary (Aurora) where 70% of the students received English Language Development (ELD). I’ve also worked in Littleton Public Schools as a Special Education and Instructional Para-Professional.

I am so excited to be back in Castle Rock and have the good fortune to work directly with you and your amazing student!

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sincerely,

Mr. David
