General Information

Location:  The Counseling Center is located in the Student Services area of ThunderRidge High School.  Parents, please sign in at the security kiosk before going to the Counseling Center.

Hours:  7:00 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Goal:  The primary goal of the Counseling Center is to assist students to function at their optimum level. Counselors work with students individually and in groups. We have three areas of focus including: academic counseling, social/emotional counseling, and post-grad counseling. Referrals may be made to community counseling sources as well as to other sources of information. For more information about our services, please contact your counselor.

Counselor Assignments:  Students are assigned a counselor based on their seminar teacher. Please see Counselor/Administrator Assignments section below, or look on your Infinite Campus Schedule.

Appointments:  Students are seen by appointment. This assures sufficient time for processing concerns brought to the counselor. Please contact the counseling secretary to schedule appointments. Additionally, there is a counselor on-call each day available to assist students and parents who walk in without an appointment.
