Positive Behavior Interventions and Support Program

Our goal is to educate the whole-child, and in that spirit, we are employing the language of PRIDE.  Teachers are educating students about the characteristics of being Patient, Respectful, Involved, Determined, and Engaged in Safe Behavior.  Explicit descriptions are defined in the PRIDE matrix and students are learning how to demonstrate each one throughout the school.

All students have a personal matrix where they are recognized for exhibiting the PRIDE traits.

This year we will have quarterly socials where students who have earned one area (one letter) of PRIDE will celebrate with their teacher playing games, making crafts, and enjoying a fun treat. Each semester we will recognize students who have earned all areas of PRIDE (all letters) at an assembly. Parents will be invited to this assembly by their student's classroom teacher.

Please ask your children about Pronghorn PRIDE!
