Positive Behavior Interventions and Support Program

Our goal is to educate the whole-child, and in that spirit, we are employing the language of PRIDE.  Teachers are educating students about the characteristics of being Principled, Relational, Inquirer, Disciplined, and Engaged.  Explicit descriptions are defined in the PRIDE matrix and students are learning how to demonstrate each one. 

All students have a personal matrix where they are recognized for exhibiting the PRIDE traits. 

Semester assemblies will be opportunities for students to be recognized when they collect teacher initials in each area for the characteristic.  For example, if a student earns an initial for being disciplined in the classroom, lunchroom, playground, hallway/restroom, and specials, they will be recognized at the assembly with a certificate and PRIDE bracelet.  You will be notified when this occurs and invited to attend the assembly. Please ask your children about Pronghorn PRIDE.
