Mrs. Crawley

Welcome! I am so excited to be working with you and your child this upcoming school year. I truly believe that teaming with parents is integral in ensuring their child’s success through supporting consistent practice of basic skills and positive social habits. I am truly looking forward to meeting and working with you all. Fourth grade is an important year for firming up strong foundations in reading, writing, and math, as well as learning how to begin applying these skills in science and social studies. Every year, it is exciting to find out who your new teacher will be. Therefore, I thought I would give you all a little bit of information about myself. My name is Hope Crawley; this will be my twenty-first year in education and my eighteenth year teaching full time. I love fourth grade and KIDS! I have taught elementary school in various grades including: second, third, fourth, and sixth. I have an MA in education and a BA in psychology and elementary education. I genuinely enjoy teaching and seeing the children learn, grow, and be successful. I am also a wife, mother, and community member. My family and I are all natives of Colorado and we love to do outdoor activities. We camp, bike, fish, geocache, and hike the National Parks. This summer my family and I camped in the Grand Tetons (pictured above) for a week. It was so beautiful and we loved spending time in nature together. I also love to sew, do home improvements, and travel on trains with my family. I am eager to learn a little more about all of you in the near future as well. It is going to be a wonderful year!
