  1. Think about what you have learned about generosity this week. 

  2. Think about a time you experienced the generosity of someone else. 

  3. In your journal, write about how they were generous (with their time, money, talents, or possessions). What made their generosity meaningful to you? Try to be thoughtful in your reflection. 

We will continue with generosity next week! :)

  1. Gather your materials. For today’s lesson, you will need this worksheet, a piece of paper or your journal, and a pencil. 

  2. In the video, Ms. Smith will explain the worksheet. There will be times when you need to stop and write down your thinking, be sure to have a paper and pencil ready and be sure you know how to pause the video.

  3. Watch this video.

Social-Emotional Learning

This week we are going to add in a social-emotional section to your lessons. This is going to be a little like “In Focus” time in class, but a bit different. Mrs. Proctor, Ms. King, and Ms. Smith will be helping you through these lessons by creating videos and posting them for you to watch.

3. Talk with a sibling or parent at home, see what they think for the pretest answers.

4. Keep this pretest and make changes to your original answers as we learn about what it means to be generous.
