Hello! My name is Danielle Krause and this will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at Mountain View! I have experience teaching kindergarten, preschool for 2 years in a Reggio Emilia classroom, student teaching in a first grade classroom, and many different experiences teaching children from 3 weeks to 8 years old. I am thrilled to continue to be a part of the amazing and supportive community here at Mountain View.

Douglas County has been my home since 2006, after moving from Arizona. I graduated from Colorado State University. At Colorado State, I received my Early Childhood Education Teaching License with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies. Teaching young children has always been my passion. I strive to create strong meaningful relationships with each individual child, family, and staff member and absolutely love each child’s curiosity and competency for learning.

This summer I celebrated my one year wedding anniversary with my husband Steele! When I am not teaching I enjoy staying active at Orange Theory, enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors, traveling, spending time with my husband, dog Blake, family and friends, and experiencing new exciting things! I cannot wait to meet my kiddos this year!!
