Info About Ms. Sobeck

Welcome to Ms. Sobeck's 4th Grade Class!!
Meet Ms. Sobeck -

Hello!  I

am happy and excited to begin my fifth year teaching 4th Grade at Northeast with you!  Northeast has always held a special place in my heart since I was lucky enough attend elementary school here, too!  The experience of walking through the halls as a child, and again as an adult, reminiscing, and continuing to pass on amazing traditions has been incredibly fulfilling.

My favorite part about teaching is that every day is different:  a fresh start, a day filled with laughs, a day of hard work, and the list continues.  Nothing beats watching you light up with bright, eager smiles of understanding.  I love to learn new things, too!  Every year as you develop and grow, I develop and grow as your teacher.  When it comes to our class, I’m not afraid to try new things, especially if it means that you will gain an even deeper love of learning.

I have lived in Parker for most of my life, but I currently live in Castle Rock in my very own townhouse!  I attended college at the University of Wyoming to earn my teaching degree, but I always knew that I wanted to come back “home” to teach.  I never thought I would get as close as my own elementary school!  I am the youngest of four children.  I have an older sister (Loren), two older brothers (Jeffrey and Joey), and FOUR beautiful nieces:  Evelyn, Morgan, Katie, and Clara.  When I am not working on schoolwork, I am typically reading.  I absolutely LOVE to read, but playing, spending time with family and friends, and of course, shopping are good time-fillers, too!

Some of my favorites:

  • Colors:  Purple and Green

  • Holiday:  Thanksgiving

  • Food:  Pasta!

  • Drink:  Dr. Pepper

  • Book:  Harry Potter

  • Song:  “Diamonds” by Hawk Nelson

  • Sport:  Football! Go BRONCOS!!

My wish for you is that you will come to school every day knowing that there is value in all of the work that you do including the work of being an eager and respectful student, a loyal friend, a kind sibling, a generous son or daughter, and a proud Northeast Eagle!  I'm looking forward to meeting you and diving into the year ahead!

Sincerely,

Ms. Heidi Sobeck
