Update for May 4

New Website!  You may have noticed that this news update landed you in the middle of our new website. The district is no longer supporting the format we were using, so we took the opportunity to create a new site with the following goals in mind:
  • Have the main landing page highlight who we are as a school with our specific model and vision–think marketing and branding and what sets us apart
  • Explain the why (research) behind who we are as a magnet school
  • Be menu-driven with shorter accessible pages
  • Be mobile friendly
  • Be a cost-free
The new URL for our site is  lte.dcsdk12.org so please replace any other bookmarks with this. Linking to our News/Weather/Calendar page will give you current information about events and happenings around LTE. We are in the process of installing an Earth Networks weather station with an HD camera that will provide amazing information for our students as well as our community. If you use the WeatherBug APP, it will soon reflect information direct from our weather station.
Thanks to everyone who supports LTE! Even i
f you couldn't attend our Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, know that we appreciate all you do for our students and our school!
