Local Authors Visit HRHS
Thanks to local YA authors Len Vlahos, author of Life in a Fishbowl (see below), and Jessica Brody, author of A Week of Mondays, for visiting HRHS and talking to our students about their books!
Len showed students a clip of The Wolfing Cookies, his punk rock band in the 80s and the inspiration for his first novel, The Scar Boys. Jessica talked about how publishers choose book covers and showed students the foreign covers of her books. Both authors' books are on sale in the LMC.

Next book:
The Long Wait for Tomorrow by Joaquin Dorfman
Next meeting: Wednesday, April 5 after school in the LMC.
