Mozilla Open Badges helps solve that problem, making it easy for any organization to issue, manage and display digital badges across the web.
Badges with a button maker from American Button Machines. We have the machine that does 1 inch round buttons. The exact system we purchased is here. Its been great for us so far. There is also online software (comes with a free trial) we are using. We actually paid for a subscription because it was so easy to use. Open Badge Initiative(OBI) - The OBI isn’t a badge issuing platform. Issuers need a system that assesses learning and awards badges within their own site. What the OBI is, is a lightweight specification that allows for learners to collect badges from multiple issuers.
