I am thrilled to start my sixth year with the Chaparral family! I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Colorado with my family in 1999. In Puerto Rico, I worked as a special education teacher, elementary school teacher, and school social worker. More recently, I had the opportunity to work in North Star Academy as a Spanish teacher.

Teaching is my passion and I hope I can pass on to my students the passion for learning a second language and help them open their minds to different perspectives of looking at the world and our community.
