Meet the Third Grade Team

Jill Cahenzli is a Third Grade Teacher here at Eagle Ridge.  She has been at Eagle Ridge for twelve  years – first as a health teacher (for two years) and then as a classroom teacher for the past nine years.  She even did her Student Teaching here at Eagle Ridge!  Jill attended Metro State University and is currently working on getting her masters. In her spare time, she has a cake pops business (with her sister) and loves to bake, play volleyball and spoil her three year old niece!  Jill just got married at the beginning of September so will now be going by Mrs. Sanger!

A Colorado native and University of Michigan graduate, Kaitlin Shock is now in her second year at  Eagle Ridge. Before making the move to Eagle Ridge- Kaitlin taught at Coyote Creek Elementary, in Highlands Ranch, for 13 years. During this time she taught second grade for one year, third grade for 4 years, 5th grade for 4 years, and first grade for 4 years.  Kaitlin believes that “school should be fun and students should learn without realizing that is what they are doing!”  In her classroom you will find students choosing different learning opportunities which are aligned to state and district outcomes all the while creating student engagement and learning that is fun!  In the past, Kaitlin received the Elementary Educator of the Year award and the Pioneers in Education award. In her spare time, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family and friends!

Beginning her teaching career where she went to elementary school, Tiffany Nieman always knew she wanted to become a teacher. Tiffany has taught in both Colorado as well as Arizona and has spent time in STEAM, gifted and traditional public schools before coming to Eagle Ridge.  Although she has had a myriad of experiences, third grade has always been her favorite grade to teach. The students are starting to become independent learners. They want to learn and know as much as they can. She relishes in seeing the spark in students eyes when they understand something for the first time and also listening to the stories that students tell her everyday.  In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys traveling, crafts, reading, being outdoors, shopping, watching football, and spending time with her friends and family.
