Enrollment Process





2015-2016 Open Enrollment:

The next Open Enrollment Window will open April 15, 2015 and Close on August 15, 2015
Paperwork will be posted Here and on the DCSD Website when available.
Open Enrollment determination is based on seat availability.
Open Enrollment determination will be made after April 15. 2015 and will continue to be reviewed based on seat availability until approximately September 1, 2015.

Upcoming 2015 RHMS Tour Dates:

February 17th & May 5th @ 9:00 AM / 3:00 PM

Meet at the Front Office.  Tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.

No Registration is Required

Students and Families may attend

Tours are intended for families not already attending one of our feeder elementary schools (Timber Trail, Wildcat, Buffalo Ridge & Redstone)


Families Accepted Under Intent To Enroll

Status for 2015-16:
  
  • Families who completed the notification process of their Intent to Return to RHMS for the 2015-2016 school year have been notified of their students confirmed attendance.
  • DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 13th to complete requested registration paperwork.  Failure to return requested forms will result in you having to partake in the OPEN ENROLLMENT process and loss of your current confirmed seat.  
  • Download and fill out the following Forms:
  • Provide the Following Items:
    • Birth Certificate (State Certified Preferred) 
    • Immunizations 
    • Proof of Residence  (This can be Warranty Deed, Deed of Trust, Tax Notice, Lease Agreement, Assessor Page or Notarized letter from person living you are living with (A copy of their Proof of Residency must be included)  
    • Transcript, Last Report Card, or Withdrawl Form 
  • You will be provided information on selecting courses for your student at the time registration paperwork is complete.  The appropriate Grade Level form will need to be completed and returned with the requested information above

Registration Process:

If you are new to the Rocky Heights community and have recently moved into our attendance area please begin with Step 1 below in order facilitate the registration process.  This process applies to families who want to enroll their student (s) for the remainder of the 2014/15 year or residency can be confirmed for the 2015/16 year.  Please contact Becky Neville, Registrar, with any questions or concerns.  A start date for your student will be determined once we receive all registration paperwork, determination/completion of placement assessment and a schedule is completed.
Step 1
In order to begin to register at Rocky Heights, you will need to provide information to the registrar.  Below is the information needed to begin.
  • Birth Certificate (State Certified Preferred)
  • Immunizations (Colorado Law)
  • Proof of Residence
    • This can be Warranty Deed, Deed of Trust, Tax Notice, Lease Agreement, Assessor Page or Notarized letter from person living you are living with (A copy of their Proof of Residency must must included)
  • Transcript, Last Report Card, or Withdrawal Form
Step 2
Residency in our attendance area must be established before enrollment can be confirmed.  Once residency is established you may download the forms below.  These forms can be returned to Rocky Heights or scanned and emailed to Becky Neville, RHMS Registrar.
Step 3
Course Selection:  
Students at each grade level have required courses and elective courses.  Those courses are laid out by grade level in the documents below.  Please download the appropriate grade level form and complete it for your student's course selection.
