2017 Career Connect High School Program was a success!
2018's Program will continue to grow.  Registration will open in March 2018.

Career Connect High School Career Exploration Program - April, 2017

Career Connect provides an opportunity for Douglas County School District high school students to explore careers alongside experienced industry professionals. This is the chance for students to learn what is required of them to become successful in their future career choice via hands-on experiences.

This career exploration program will take place on weeknights April 3-27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students can select to attend as many sessions as they desire, based on their interest and availability. However, please only register for the sessions your schedule allows. Check your calendar and make sure you have transportation before registering. Each year, most of the sessions "sell out" and we want to accommodate as many students as possible.  More employers will be on board next year if a topic you are interested in is not featured this semester.

Program Requirements
  • Students are required to secure transportation to all sessions they have registered for.
  • Registration requires a fee per session (tbd for 2018). It is payable online at the time of registration via a credit card. If this will prohibit you from participating in Career Connect, please click the FRL/Hardship fee when registering.  Sorry, no refunds will be issued.
  • Due to our new online ordering system, you will need to register and pay for each session separately.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
  • Waivers must be submitted (included in the registration process).
  • Bring a curious mind and enjoy the session.
